The Childs Family Youth Concert

Thanks to the very generous support of the Childs Family, we are excited to welcome a slightly younger audience for our fourth Youth Concert, where children are FREE, and adult tickets are $25. Andy welcomes Sooyun Kim, Yoonah Kim, Elizabeth Tiscione, David Byrd-Marrow, and Anthony Georgeson; Miss F welcomes their five lively wind instruments-flute, clarinet, oboe, French horn, and bassoon.  It should prove a glorious hour of music, chatter, and action, concluding with an instrument petting zoo in the lobby.

Classical music is like a brain booster, especially for kids. It enhances memory, boosts creativity, and may even make math easier! This concert is a playful blend of music education and interactive entertainment. Young folks get to ask questions, learn interesting facts about the instruments and musicians, and be amazed at how music can tell stories and arouse emotions without words.

Please consider attaching yourself to one or more young people or supporting a family for this season’s YC.  Several subscribers award grants covering parent and bus chaperone expenses to ensure all childrewn wanting to attend can.  Contact Staci 843.208.8246 if you would like to help.
